Homepage Feature

This guide will take you through setting up getting featured on the Homepage:

To follow along with this guide, you will need to be in your Channel Settings: https://glimesh.tv/users/settings/stream.

Every hour, six streams are chosen at random from all streamers who are currently live (and have been for at least 15 minutes) on the platform and opted in to show on the homepage. The category you are streaming in does not matter, everyone has the same chance of being selected. If you are chosen for the feature, you will be featured on the homepage for 1 full hour - if you have any connection issues or need to restart your stream, do not worry, your slot is reserved for that full hour, so your stream will show up again when you reconnect.

Of those 6 featured streams, one stream is randomly shown in the “top spot” on the homepage, this is randomly selected for each person who visits the homepage.

Before opting in there are some requirements you will need to adhere to:

To opt into the homepage feature head to the Homepage section of your channel settings.

In the bottom right corner of this section is a toggle labeled “Show channel on homepage randomly”, toggle this to the on position.

Once you have set this click the large blue update channel button at the bottom of the page.

You can opt out at any time from being featured on the homepage by turning the toggle off, be sure to click the update channel once you have done so to apply the changes.

You can check how many hours you have streamed so far from this page. On the right size, above the Show on Homepage toggle is a section for Total Channel Hours. This will update after every stream, enabling you to keep track of how close you are to hitting the 10 hours required.
